Parking Control Services Group (PCS Group) is a private property parking enforcement agency licensed through the Toronto Police Service Parking Enforcement Unit Contract Services. In every Municipality there are many regulations and by-laws that need to be executed in order to correctly enforce parking authority. Annually, every Municipality must update all parking enforcement activities to stay constant with new or updated regulations. Parking Control Services Group ensures that our parking enforcement team is fully qualified to conduct the issuance of parking infraction notices.

Parking Control SERVICES

Many private properties containing residences such as condos or apartment buildings as well as shopping malls and commercial businesses have driveways and laneways that must be kept clear for fire and other emergency vehicles. Municipalities allow property owners to apply for a bylaw designation that allows them to designate specific areas on their property as a fire route. Signs must be clearly posted stating the area is a designated fire route and that parking is prohibited as per the bylaw number noted on the sign. Once the signs are properly posted, our Municipal Law Enforcement Officers may place an official City of Toronto parking ticket on any motor vehicle found parked on the designated fire route.

One in five disabled parking spaces are used by drivers with no disability. We believe that rate could be even higher. Abuse of disabled spaces is a major problem in busy commercial spaces such as retail malls. This can lead to unhappy customers and many business hours spent processing complaints about parking. We make sure that you don’t have these problems.

Residential and tenant parking in apartment buildings can suffer from various kinds of parking problems. To help you find the service that you require, Parking Control Services has highlighted four of the major parking problems that are found within residential properties. We have also recommended an easy solution for each problem.

This can usually be managed quickly and effectively by using a straightforward permit solution. The residents are provided with permits for themselves and their visitors, leaving any unauthorised vehicle exposed with no permit displayed.

If the parking bays are allocated and numbered, a straightforward permit solution will work very effectively. By printing the bay number onto the face of the permit we can verify whether or not a vehicle has parked in the correct bay. This type of permit solution ensures each resident has complete exclusivity to their own parking bay. The permit acts as a key to that resident’s bay. The above solutions can be used together or separately depending on your requirements, however these solutions are only fully effective when enforced by Parking Control Services.

At Parking Control Services we understand the parking management needs of the retail industry and share your business focus. Like you we are in a service based industry. We appreciate that each supermarket, shopping centre and retail park has a different set of priorities and we adapt our parking services to reflect those differences, either on a store-by-store or location basis. If the parking facility is suffering from external parking abuse, an easy and effective solution can be to deploy a maximum stay restriction, i.e. 2, 3 or 4 hours. By introducing a maximum stay, genuine users can park freely, use the facilities and then vacate. However unauthorised vehicles which are parked there by commuters or local businesses etc…. will exceed the maximum stay time restriction. We can also have our parking enforcement staff be present on the site.

Pay and display is a simple way to encourage drivers to follow the rules. It’s also one of the most efficient methods of revenue generation for a car park, and has low maintenance requirements. The Pay and Display setup provides a simple method for enforcing a car park. Your patron pays for parking and receives a permit that they display on the dashboard of the vehicle. This system provides numerous benefits to a business. It offers ease of use for everyone involved. Our officers enforcing the car park can easily see the tickets displayed on the dashboards to quickly check whether the person paid and that the time frame is correct. We don’t do one size fits all – we work to find a way that fits your car park and we will discuss your needs.

Option 1

Visitor registration will be site designated. For example if someone calls our 416-925-XXXX they would know that to register their vehicle they need to press code 101 and that this code is allocated to a specific location, for example 75 Yonge Street. If someone calls and they are at 85 Yonge Street their code number would be 102 and so forth.

This visitor registration number will be changed at a future date.

Option 2

The second option is to register by email.

The cost is $40.00 per building per month for both services. 

Pricing depends upon the number and type of sign the customer orders. As an example the sign pricing for an 18 x 24 sign is $90.00 plus HST, if no pole is required. If a pole is required the pricing will need to be determined. Similarly a 12 x 18 sign will cost $70.00 plus HST. Installation is at no charge.
